Intuitive development environment
The straton IEC61131-3 editor is a powerful development environment for developing applications via different languages (ST, FBD, SFC, LD, IL). It offers numerous tools for configuring field buses and performing online diagnostics.


Runtime (execution engine)
The straton Runtime, with its low memory footprint, ensures the execution of developed applications. Compatible with a multitude of platforms regardless of hardware configuration and operating system, it supports various drivers and communication protocols such as Modbus, Profinet, BACnet, CANOpen, IEC61850, and IEC60870. This allows maximum flexibility for manufacturers and end users in programming their equipment, ranging from PLCs to embedded systems. Thanks to its functionalities, the straton Runtime is one of the most powerful, versatile and complete software PLCs - sometimes called virtual PLCs in certain applications - on the market.
