3 daysObjective:
Provide participants with the necessary tools to program, configure, deploy and efficiently maintain a complete automation application.
Content:
Introduction to straton and industrial automation
IEC61131-3 standard and PLCopen organization
Presentation of programming languages: ST, LD, FBD, SFC
Creation and management of subroutines and UDFB
Use of straton environment tools
Exploitation of libraries and external objects
Compilation and download to straton Runtime
Configuration and management of communication protocols: Modbus, CANopen, Profinet, etc.
Target audience:
Technicians and engineers responsible for programming and maintaining PLC applications.
Prerequisites:
No prior knowledge is required, but a basic understanding of automation systems and Windows operating system is recommended.
straton IEC61850 Training: Automation for the Energy Sector
2 daysObjective:
Enable participants to master the IEC61850 energy communication standard for developing applications in the smart grids sector and substations.
Content:
Presentation of straton software and IEC61850 standard
Architecture and IEC61850 data model
Mandatory fields and communication structures
Use of straton tools dedicated to energy
Configuration and operation of SCL editor
Setting up an IEC61850 server and client
Configuration and use cases of MMS and GOOSE protocols

Prerequisites:
Have completed IEC61131-3 training and have basic knowledge of industrial communication protocols.

As a trainer at straton automation, I enjoy supporting our customers and helping them discover the world of our software. My goal is to help them understand the complex world of the IEC 61131-3 standard by constantly linking theory and practice. This approach ensures a good understanding throughout the three days of training.
Nasreddine Moussa
As a trainer at STRATON AUTOMATION, I help clients understand the IEC 61850 standard and apply it concretely using straton's IEC 61850 stack. Also how to combine it with the IEC 61131-3 standard to develop efficient and interoperable automation solutions.
