Configuration and IEC61131-3 Programming via straton

The RTU32 is easy to configure and program but yet flexible enough to adapt to any application. It is programmed using the straton Workbench, a full development diagnostic tool with comprehensive project tracking and simulation features. It supports all five IEC 61131-3 languages (SFC, FBD, SFC, LD, IL) and the PLC programming does not suffer from known PLC limitations like number of timers, counters, specific address areas etc. - with straton you freely define your data variables with name, type, instances etc.

 

 

 

The RTUs can be configured remotely or locally via LAN/WAN networks and any local/remote serial connection.

Beside the advanced and powerful PLC programming features, Brodersen has in STRATON added all the features that recognize a true RTU - including for example:

  • RTC with millisecond resolution to provide time stamps for alarms and events
